What is your turnaround time?
We offer a 24-hour turnaround
time for all quantities listed on this web site. All orders,
EXCEPT some holiday cards, received by
5:00 pm PST, Monday through Friday, will be shipped the following business
day. Orders received
on Saturdays and Sundays will be processed on Monday for Tuesday shipping.
By default,
all shipments are made via US Postal Service unless requested otherwise.
Please allow 2-5 days
(including Saturdays) for arrival. Ask about our quick turnaround
time for other quantities and about other shipping methods.

What are the file specifications I
should design to?
Business cards trim size: 2" x 3.5"
Postcards (standard) trim size: 4" x 6" without bleed; 4.25" x 5.75" with bleed
Postcards (oversize) trim size: 5.5" x 8.5" with or without bleed
Letterhead trim size: 8.5" x 11"
Flyer trim size: 8.5" x 11"
Brochure (letter size) trim size: 8.5" x 11"
Brochure (tabloid) trim size: 11" x 17"
Holiday Greeting Card trim size: 5" x 7"
What type of files do you accept?
We accept a wide range of image and layout programs for both PC and Mac
platforms including Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw, Tiff (300 dpi), PDF, and MS Publisher files.
Ask us about other programs.
USER TIPS:
Illustrator/CorelDraw users - outline/convert all text to curve
MS Publisher users - use Pack-and-Go under
the file menu
Photoshop users - use 300 dpi at 1027 x 578
pixels (CMYK)
CHECKLIST:
1. Image file is in correct dimensions and proper printing resolution (300
pixels / inch).
2. All the text and important graphics are NOT too close to the edge.
3. Text is not too small to read.
4. Border, if desired, is NOT placed too close to the edges.
5. Background image extends 1/8" beyond the edges for bleed.
How accurate are the colors? Are they going to be the same as what I see on the screen?
Due to the complex variables involved in color fidelity, no online printing
firm can guarantee
"matching" color fidelity. That's one great reason for taking
advantage of our free proofs: see how the colors will look on the finished
product BEFORE agreeing to have the job printed. We offer the industry standard in “pleasing color” and will make
any reasonable
adjustments to help correct submitted files.
USERS TIPS:
All jobs are printed in CMYK-process color. If you upload in CMYK, we ask
you to use
our preferred-color profile for better color accuracy. Bayprints.com
uses the US Sheet-fed
Coated color profile.
Can I use my reseller license?
Yes, you may. California resellers, please download the California Resale
Certificate at
http://www.boe.ca.gov/pdf/boe230.pdf. You will need to fax in this form
to retrieve a code you
may use in the discount code area. We will then automatically deduct the tax
amount from
the purchase. Fax it to 408.245.5181
